If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'dfinger paint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off the watch, and watch with my eyes.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.

This is Why I Hadn't Started a Blog...
Now I remember why. I totally think about what I could write about on my blog and nothing happens. Adam went ice fishing with the young men over the weekend and then spoke at an Eagle Scout court of honor (or whatever it's called). The boys and I went to the park Saturday while he was gone. I also got my house really clean. I did some relief society visits Sunday. Today Bennett, Isaac, and I went for a walk in the sun and then to the park. We had hot dogs for dinner and a semi-dysfunctional FHE... (try reading parts of the Proclamation on the Family and explaining what it means to 3 little boys who need to go to bed). Yeah, not much is happening, and I think I might start making stuff up soon.

Old Pictures
Here is a nice review of the year 2007 and maybe a little 2006 also. Cute little boys. They are such good boys for me... most of the time! I need to get the more current pics off my camera so I can post some of what they actually look like now.

So I have finally given in and started a blog. I said I wouldn't start one because I don't do anything longterm except for feed my children. I have written in a journal once a decade and I have taken prenatal vitamins with each baby until the newness of it wore off. I even worked at Little Caesars for 5 days. This is the story of my life. So, I pretty much try not to start things I can't finish so I won't drive everyone crazy. Consider this a warning, or maybe a disclaimer. This may be my only post!
